1. Vulnerable Group Development Program (VGD):
The destitute woman is being given 30 kg of packaged rice / wheat per head per month and life skills training is being imparted to help her become self reliant.
2. Maternity Allowance Program for the Poor Mother:
Poor pregnant mothers are being given a monthly allowance of taka.800/ -. In addition, awareness and skill enhancement training activities are underway.
3. Working Lactating Mother Support Fund Program:
Under the Working Lactating Mother Support Fund program, women are given a monthly stipend of taka.800 / - per annum.
4.Micro-credit activities for self-employment of women:
In order to integrate the neglected women of the society into the mainstream of economic development as well as for the empowerment of grassroots women, micro-loans of taka.10000/- is given with low interest.
5.Women's training:
Training is provided under the IGA project for the economic, social and family empowerment of educated, unemployed and destitute women. Duration of training is 03 months.
6.Registration of voluntary women's association:
Voluntary women's associations are registered with the aim of developing women's self-reliance and leadership. You have to apply through the concerned upazila office.
Registration: You have to apply in the prescribed form along with the required documents by depositing taka.2000 / - (two thousand) through treasury invoice in the government treasury for the fee.
7.Distribution of sewing machine:
Sewing machines are distributed among the helpless and destitute women in the name of Hon'ble Members of Parliament. Applications have to be submitted through Hon'ble Members of Parliament.
8.Prevention of child marriage:
Child marriage is prevented with the help of upazila administration. Backyard meetings and discussion meetings at district and upazila level are continuing as awareness activities for prevention of child marriage.
9.Prevention of violence against women and children:
Meetings of the Committee for Prevention of Violence against Women and Children are held every month at the upazila level. Regular backyard meetings and discussion meetings are held to prevent violence against women and children.
10.Joyeeta Onneshone Bangladeh:
On the occasion of International Women's Violence Prevention Days and Begum Rokeya Day celebrations, 05 winners of Joyeeta are selected in 05 categories at the upazila level and they were given reception.
